No. A paragraph describing the problem is enough. Turning a rough idea into a spec is literally what discovery is for.

Yes, before any detailed discussion. Send yours over or ask for ours.

Yes, and often. We are honest about it though: if your budget is below roughly $50k we will tell you what can realistically be built for it rather than overpromising.

In rare cases we do a partial equity arrangement for a project we believe in, but the default is cash. Ask on the call.

Of course — we are in San Francisco and happy to host. Most of our clients we have never met in person, but the offer stands.
